Care is often a thread that runs through a person's life. Nicola has been nominated for her heart of gold, working full time helping others but also putting her family first, particularly her grandad who suffered from Alzheimer’s. She is totally selfless, despite all the demands on her, Nicola still enters the Coniston 2 Barrow every year contributing to A Stitch Different, a cause close to her heart.
