The Student of the Year Award 2024 sponsored by Furness College, is a chance for you to let a student in your life know how much their hard work is recognised, valued and appreciated.
The award is open to anyone that is currently learning an academic qualification, a new skill or vocational trade or even transferable skills to improve their professional development. The category includes apprentices and trainees as well as students of any age. The person must have shown exceptional skills and attitude alongside their studies, above and beyond what you would expect.
The nomination can be for any age, any industry or sector and any type of study, both paid and voluntary, as long as the studies are undertaken in the South Lakes area and is currently active or has been within the last 12 months of the nomination.
