Since nominations opened on Tuesday they’ve started to appear in the electronic mailboxes of the Love Barrow Awards team – and already it’s clear that there will be some great candidates to discuss when the time comes to whittle down the shortlist for the awards evening.
The first nomination to tell you about is a colourful one – and a contribution to the town that everyone cannot have failed to notice. The team at CONTINENTAL LANDSCAPES make sure that the town looks fantastic every year with their floral displays and they have been nominated for COMMUNITY FOCUSED BUSINESS OF THE YEAR.
The reason given for nominating them? “I nominate the Landscape Gardeners (Continental Landscapes) who work tirelessly to keep Barrow looking so colourful and beautiful. I believe we should be proud that we have such people working to show Barrow at its best for us as well as visitors. Well done. ”
I’m sure everyone in the town would agree with the nominator when they say that, “They make Barrow look beautiful and colourful ”
