One person can make a big difference, to one of our smallest neighbours.  Furness Hedgehog Rescue has been nominated for the many years of rescue, care, and release of sick hedgehogs.  Driven by Irene Cannon, hedgehogs in trouble find a loving home to recover from disease and poor health.  Known far and wide for her work, the Rescue has taken over Irene’s house, garden, and two sheds!  Supported by donations from the community, Irene gives up her time, for free, to help our hedgehogs.
