Being the main carer can be a challenge to achieving personal goals. Dawn has been nominated for overcoming her own challenges with Asperger’s syndrome while being the primary carer for her mother and brothers. Inspired by her own experiences, she wanted to work with young people with disabilities. Dawn has not only gained a degree around Special Educational Needs but secured a dream job as a Teaching Assistant.
